
AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – North Korea, large emotional crowds gathered to watch as a procession of cars carrying Kim Jong II’s coffin passed by. North Korea’s new leader, Kim Jong Un walked next to the car carrying his father's body.
United Kingdom – Queen Elizabeth’s husband, Prince Philip, is now resting at the royal family's country estate. The 90-year-old Prince left the hospital Tuesday morning after undergoing treatment for a blocked coronary artery. Prince Philip spent 4-nights in the hospital recovering from a successful coronary stent procedure.
Also in the U.K., there are plenty of crash landings here.

A crazy event called the British Car Jumping Championships. The drivers of the so-called "banger" cars have to fly over a row of old, wrecked cars and try to land safely on the other side. By the looks of it, it's easier said than done.
Kyrgyzstan – Thirty-one people were hurt when a passenger jet crash landed in Central Asia today. The fog was very heavy but we still don't know exactly what caused the plane to go down.
Russia – A teacher dressed up as Santa and wished local people in his Siberian hometown a Happy New Year and Christmas by riding the freezing waters of a river on improvised water skis. The temperature out there was only 14-degrees.
