Pakistan, Canada, Mexico, Australia
AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Pakistan, say they have successfully test-fired a cruise missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. According to Pakistani authorities, the missile has a range of over 215-miles. The missile is designed to be a low, altitude terrain-hugging missile that is difficult to detect. It is the fourth such test by Pakistan in a month and the second in a week. The tests come after Pakistan’s rival India tested a missile capable of delivering nuclear warheads as far away as Beijing and Eastern Europe.
Canada – Police in Montreal are searching for a killer they believe mailed his victim's remains to Canada’s leading political parties. They think their suspect, a former gay porn actor, posted the video of the murder online. They've tried to take the video off the net but it keeps reappearing.
Mexico – Residents outside of Mexico City are staying on alert as a volcano spews out ash. The volcano has had small daily eruptions since 1994 but blasts have grown larger since last month. Around 25-million people live within a 60-mile radius of the volcano.
Australia – It was raining sheep here after a truck carrying four hundred of the fuzzy critters flipped onto its side, and was left dangling over a highway bridge. One person said: “I was just driving straight minding my own business and then all of a sudden these sheep are falling down from the top of an overpass.” Several sheep were killed and cars hit by them were damaged. The driver of the truck is ok.
