AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – The Republic of Congo, three kids were killed in a blaze that swept across military housing. Witnesses say it was sparked by an electrical short. At points crews poured buckets of water on the flames. A number of soldiers and their wives said the base is a disgrace.

New Zealand – Bad weather is still slowing efforts to stop oil from gushing out of a tanker ship that's been stranded on a reef for 2-weeks. It's already leaked more than 350-tons of oil and officials say it's the country’s worst environmental disaster at sea.

Libya – Take a look at what NTC fighters have built to protect soldiers from pro-Khaddafy snipers.

It’s designed to smash through road blocks and barricades and is equipped with machine guns. The soldiers still haven't been able to take Sirte. There is still no sign of the ousted leader.

Indonesia – Well-wishers lined the streets hoping to catch a glimpse of the new royal couple of Java. The Sultan's youngest daughter wed a commoner during a traditional overnight ceremony.

Syria – Another huge crowd at a train station to watch a daring feat of strength. A guy strapped on a harness, tugged, and tugged until the wheels on the locomotive started to turn. Hit next challenge is to pull a ship.
