AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Syria, U.N. observers were able to get to the site of a massacre of 78-civilians in today. While the U.N. has been tight-lipped about what they saw but the accounts of some of the journalists have confirmed that there was a very bloody encounter there. And according to the eyewitnesses it was the Syrian military that went house to house killing men, women, and children at close range. The fear is that an all-out civil war is about to erupt here.

China – Heavy rain here has forced a bus driver to deal with more than just heavy traffic on his morning commute. The driver instead had to deal with the road itself when the ground swallowed his bus whole. There is no word yet on the driver’s condition.

United States – There was some scary moments at a hospital in Alaska when an unexpected visitor arrived. A black bear was caught on tape running around the main entrance. Security was finally able to chase the big guy away. Black bear sightings are common this time of year as animals look for food.

Canada – Would-be thieves got more than they bargained for at a convenience store they tried to rob. The owner didn’t hand over cash; he unleashes a can of bear spray on the men. One suspect lost his pants in the incident right before the owner's wife started kicking him. We're told at least 1-suspect is in custody tonight
