AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Thailand, a massive explosion erupted at a fireworks factory. The blaze was so huge that 3-dozen fire trucks were needed to control the flames. Residents within a 2-mile perimeter were evacuated. The cause of the explosion is currently under investigation and no one was hurt.

Peru – Homes and crops are in ruin after a river burst its banks. We're told that heavy rains pushed the river's level to twice its normal height. A local official says the flooding has affected 70-percent of the region's farm land including rice and banana crops.

Brazil – A man barely avoided death after he was shot at point blank-range in front of a TV crew. The reporter was live talking about an attempted murder when a man emerged from a bar and shot the victim in the head again. Amazingly, the victim survived the shooting.

India – A Tibetan protester who set himself on fire earlier this week died today. But the demonstrations continued ahead of the Chinese President's arrival. Tibet has been under Chinese control since 1950.

Canada – The ‘Frisbee Trick Shot’ artist has done it again and this time Brodie Smith from way up in the rafters at a hockey rink nails his target far below at center ice. He makes it look easy.
