AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Ukraine, nearly 30-people were killed after 4-explosions today. The first blast was at a tram stop and the rest were in other populated areas of this city. Investigators are treating them all as a terrorist attack. They say the unknown assailants sent letters demanding money.

Canada – In Montreal yesterday students took on police all to protest a 330-dollar tuition fee increase. The government was in the process of negotiating the hike but talks fell through the night before.

Venezuela – Security forces seized 3-tons of cocaine at a busy port. Smugglers tried to hide the drugs in 15-hundred boxes of ceramic mix. It’s believed the cocaine was headed to Mexico. Three arrests were made.

Cuba – The bar where writer Ernest Hemingway once sipped mojitos celebrated its 70th anniversary this week. The bar has since seen its share of celebrities and tourists from all over. In fact, the bar's become so popular with the international crowd; it now has locations in 6-countries.

United States – In keeping with tradition, a group of MIT students dropped a piano off one of the dormitory roofs on Thursday. It is to mark the very last day students can drop classes. The tradition goes back 40-years.
