AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Ukraine, people are angry about its government cutting spending and raising the price of gas. So they spiked some pumpkins on the gates of Parliament, turned on the tunes, and tore down a gate to the music. At least one woman threw a pumpkin at police.

Mexico – The Navy says it found 2-tons of marijuana floating in the Pacific Ocean. Some pot packages even washed up on the beach. The Navy says it's not even going to speculate on where the drugs came from.

Jordan – A fire broke out on a ferry. More than 12-hundred people escaped on life boats. But one man died when he tried to save himself by jumping into the Red Sea. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

Spain – An underwater volcano near the Canary Islands is erupting, spewing steaming fragments of magma to the surface of the ocean. It's an interesting sight to see, still the military has moved in, just in case they're needed.

India – We introduced you to a real life “slumdog millionaire” last week but the winning episode of the Indian version of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” just aired last night. The rich guy used to make just over a hundred bucks a month. He wants to fix up his house and pay off his debt.

Tune in every night at 9:00 p.m. on FOX44 New Baton Rouge for more Around the World.
