Around The World(FOX44) USA- The centers for disease control says as of October 2nd 163 people in the United States have died from the West Nile Virus.
Officials with the CDC say nearly 4,000 cases of the West Nile Virus have been reported this year.
Investigators say almost 70% of the cases were reported from 8 states Texas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Dakota, Michigan, Oklahoma and Illinois.
A third of them are from Texas.

Iran- Sanctions against Iran along with government financial mismanagement are taking dramatic effect in Tehran.
Amateur video purports to show merchants in the capital's main bazaar closing their shops in protest after Iran's currency dropped more than a third of its value in a week.
Iran's currency hit a record low yesterday on the unofficial street trading rate.
Police have threatened to act against shopowners who shut down today.

Pakistan- The anti Muslim movie that's thought to have sparked a deadly attack in Libya and protests around the Muslim world is now making waves in Pakistan.
An estimated 4,000 women took part in a protest today.
This demonstration was peaceful but many of the anti film protests have turned violent.
