AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Zimbabwe, a bungee-jumping adventure goes terribly wrong, and left a woman fighting for her life. The Australian woman took her New Year’s Eve jump and the cord snapped sending her plunging into the river below. The 22-year-old says she struggled to swim through the rapids. Her feet were still tied together when she hit the water. Despite all that, no serious injuries, just minor cuts and bruises.

New Zealand – Investigators are back at the scene of last week's hot air balloon crash that killed all 11-people on board. This is the country's deadliest air disaster in nearly 50-years. They say it could be some time before they figure out what went wrong when the balloon hit power lines and burst into flames, before slamming into the ground.

Austria – Officials are warning of a high avalanche risk in the western part of the country where heavy snow has already shut down roads and train service. The storm reportedly trapped dozens of people at a mountain refuge for two days until the government sent a military helicopter to get them.

Colombia – Veterinarians say a rare "spectacled bear" cub might have died if not for this boy. He claims he found it near his home in the rural west and took care of it for weeks without telling his parents. The vets say they'll release it into the wild once it's strong enough.
