The Town of Sorrento missed out on thousands of dollars because of unpaid traffic tickets and unpaid utility bills. That's according to a new report from the state legislative auditor's office.

Auditors found the town has a problem collecting money for traffic tickets and court fees. They say the town is owed $113,000 from violators. The auditor also found the town has a lot of people who didn't pay their utility bills. Auditors say the town never end up shutting off services to them. Now the town can't keep up with the cost.

The auditor said Sorrento can do things to fix the problems.
