BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — LSU's Tiger Stadium turned country this weekend for the fourth annual Bayou Country Superfest. .
"This is much more of a relaxed atmosphere . It's more family oriented. It's more inviting," Kenny New, who has attended Bayou Country Superfest three times, explained. "You can stand up do a little dancing and just enjoy."
Saturday dozens of music lovers filled the stadium to see Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, and Lady Antebellum.
Before the big names hit the stage fans were treated to free concerts outside at the "fan fest." They also got a chance to meet and greet some of their favorite artist.
Event goers say the Bayou Country Superfest give Louisiana and Baton Rouge more options for entertainment.
"It's so close to home . It's so many artist that you hardly get to see in regular concerts. It's just the variety of artists," Billy Huckabay, first timer watching the fest, said.
The festivities pick back up on Sunday.
