Monday, November 5, 2012 - 4:36pm

Be prepared when you walk into the voting booth. That's Secretary of State Tom Schedler's advice for voters heading to the polls tomorrow.

If you live in East Baton Rouge Parish you'll be casting ballots on 9 state-wide amendments, mayor-president, president and the supreme court; that's in addition to the public service commission and the court of appeals.

Schedler says exercise your right to vote, but know what you're voting for when you walk into the booth.

"Get out there and exercise your right because many a man and woman who have given you that freedom that we all enjoy in this country that unfortunately we take for granted," he said.

You only have three minutes to cast your ballot.
