Baton Rouge, La (FOX44) — Water and sewer services will be shut off at Brandywine Apartments in Baton Rouge at the end of March.
The reason for the shutoff - the owner of the complex is over $100,000 behind in utility payments.
People who live at Brandywine have until March 31 to find a new place to live. They say that's not enough time to find new homes.
FOX44 spoke with one man who actually owns his apartment there, and he's wondering what'll happen to him.
"I'm a homeowner. I don't have any place to go. This is my home - it's not just a place that's temporary,” stated Francis Lafleur. “It's my home, so where this money going? That's my question."
Lafleur says he's currently working with an attorney to figure out what his rights are.
