CATS to start up 'Touchdown Express' again

Tuesday, August 14, 2012 - 2:00am

With 19 days until kickoff at Tiger Stadium, the Capital Area Transit System is launching Touchdown Express.

The bus service will run before every LSU home game.

The goal is to save Tiger fans money and get them a safe, sober ride to and from Tiger Stadium.

“I don't know why somebody would want to walk ten or twelve blocks to get to the game or pay such a large amount of parking,” stated CATS CEO Brian Marshall. “We've tried to make this a convenience. We've made it affordable.”

A round trip ride will cost four dollars.

The service will start four hours before kickoff and continue for two hours after the game.
