Millions of Americans have weight problems but its hard to get that weight off. That's why one local couple is posing as an inspiration for hundreds in the area.

They have lost over a hundred pounds combined and decided to help others with their business called Waist Away.

"We change people's lives," said Geno Gambino, founder of Waist Away, LLC.

Patty and Geno change lives but not just other peoples lives, they have changed their own. "I wanted to be invisible,” said Patty Christopher.

Patty and Geno were both extremely over weight and after one trip to an amusement park they knew something needed to change.

"We were too fat to ride the roller coasters.”

”I lost 35 pounds in 40 days and we got to ride that roller coaster with our kids and we were very excited about it," said Christopher.

"I lost 30 pounds in the first 40 days then we decided we wanted to help other people to do the same thing," noted Gambino.

After trying the HCG diet, their lives changed forever. “We wanted to help other people to do the same thing.”

Tebora Tabor is one success story that’s come out of the Waist Away office. "I started February, 2012 by December I lost 75 pounds and that revolutionized my life," said Tabor.

Now they are not only just a Weightloss business but an inspiration to others.

“Do you know what its like to have somebody come up to you and hug you out of no where walking through a store somewhere or something like that and say thank you for helping me thank you for letting me play with my 3 year old kid again,” said Gambino. ”They say thank you for letting me get my wedding ring back on. That is emotional that is heartfelt."

And now 150 pounds lighter, they hope to use their story to not only change lives but make a difference.
"My biggest goal is to be able to help million people," said Gambino.
