LUTCHER, LA (FOX44) — A 19-year-old was arrested for allegedly shooting at individuals at a high school football game.
The St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies responded to a call of shots fired at Lutcher High School on Friday, Oct. 4. Deputies learned that after the game concluded, an unknown man pulled out a gun and started shooting. He then fled the scene in a vehicle.
Witnesses and the victims provided enough information to point deputies to Jarrin Bartley. They conducted a search of his home on Thursday, Oct. 10 where they recovered two firearms.
Bartley was arrested and charged with Attempted Second-Degree Murder, Illegal Use of a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm on School Property. He was booked into the St. James Parish Detention Center. His bond was set at $45,000.
