$40,000 reward being offered for arrest of two burglary suspects

The victims of an aggravated burglary are offering a $40,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of two suspects.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the burglary occurred on Saturday, May 4 at roughly 9:30 a.m. It happened at a home in the Winterberry Ct. in the River Oak subdivision.

The female homeowner was inside with her 9-year-old child and several adult relatives when two suspects barged into the home and demanded money. Investigators believe the men had prior knowledge about the family and specifically targeted them.

The suspects took a small amount of cash, multiple firearms, and some jewelry. One of those items is pictures above. It is a medallion with the Virgin Mary.

The suspects managed to flee the scene in the female home owner’s late model Mercedez Benz. The vehicle was later found abandoned in the Pearl River area.

The suspects are adult males – one is approximately 6’ tall, the other is approximately 5’7” tall. Both men were wearing masks.
