APSO arrests sex offender who failed to register for 2nd time

Ascension Parish Sheriff's deputies arrested a man who failed to register as a sex offender, for the second time.

Lt. Col. Bobby Webre said 41-year-old Kelvin Clark of Prairieville, failed to report with the Sex Offender Division within three days of his release from the Ascension Parish Jail on March 14.
On June 30, detectives found Clark illegally residing at a home on Bayou Narcisse Road in Gonzales.

Clark was arrested for Failing to Register and Notify as a Sex Offender and taken to the Ascension Parish Jail.

APSO said no bond has been set.

He was originally arrested for failing to register on March 17, 2013.

Clark is classified as a Tier I Sex Offender and is required to register as a sex offender for 15 years.
