BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — Arson is believed to be the cause of a commercial building fire located on Monroe Avenue in Baton Rouge.
Firefighters got the call on July 16 at around 7:15 p.m.
Investigators say that the fire began in the lobby of the two-story building, and quickly extended upstairs through air conditioning vents.
At least 25 percent of the building has fire damage, while the rest has significant smoke damage.
