ASCENSION PARISH, LA — The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects who attempted to rob a couple at their residence on Shady Oaks Lane in Prairieville the evening of March 13.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to Shady Oaks Lane when a couple stated two men attempted to break in their residence but before making entrance fled on foot in an empty field.

One suspect, a white male, was armed with a baseball bat, wearing dark clothing and a makeshift mask with sunglasses. The other suspect, a white male, was armed with a shotgun, wearing dark clothing.
