A Baton Rouge man was arrested for indecent behavior after he allegedly convinced a boy to text him nude photos and sexually explicit videos.

According to the arrest report, the messages were sent between May 2013 and August 2013. The suspect, Christopher Settoon, 35, allegedly met the victim during a birthday party.

The report notes that the messages between Settoon and the boy were “friendly” at first. However, he eventually asked the boy to send him the explicit photos and videos. The victim complied with the request.

When questioned by a deputy with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, Settoon allegedly confirmed that he texted the boy and that some of the messages were inappropriate. However, he denied “being involved in contact with the victim in a sexual manner.” He said he “talked to the victim as he would talk to his younger brothers or any of his younger brothers’ friends.”

Settoon was arrested and charged with Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile and Computer-Aided Solicitation, which are both felony charges. His bond was set at $40,000.
