BATON ROUGE, LA — The Baker Police and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office conducted a joint narcotics investigation which resulted in an arrest of a Baton Rouge man.
On August 8, Brenton Johnson, Jr., 22, was arrested after autorities executed a search warrant at his home.
Agents seized approximately 100 IDU of Ecstasy, Molly's, Hydrocodone, digital scales, and an assortment of legend drugs. Agents also seized a stolen fully loaded AK-47 assault rifle with a 30 round magazine, a fully loaded .9mm handgun, and extra ammunition.
Johnson's 10-month-old daughter was in the same bedroom with the narcotics and weapons.
Johnson, who is a convicted felon, was charged with two counts of Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm, two counts of Drug Paraphernalia, PWID Schedule I & III, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Possession of a CDS in the Presence of a Minor.
