Bell Rose man faces 10 counts of drug, firearm related charges

Assumption Parish Sheriff Mike Waguespack reported that the Narcotics Division and SWAT conducted a search warrant in the 100 block of Champ Lane in Bell Rose on Tuesday, Jan. 14.

Following the search, Harold Carcisse, 37, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute cocaine over 200 grams, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana over 28 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), 4 counts Possession of a CDS in the presence of a juvenile.

Four small children were present in the residence at the time of the search.

The total street value of the recovered narcotics was estimated at $15,000.

Carcisse’s bond was set at $550,500.
