Bond set at $250,000 for man charged with 3 counts of attempted murder

Bond has been set at $250,000 for a 19-year-old accused of three counts of Attempted First-Degree Murder.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that Christopher Singleton was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 7. The warrant for his arrest was issued by the Morgan City Police Department in connection to a shooting that took place on August 19, 2013.

Singleton is accused of firing his gun at three individuals who were sitting inside of a parked vehicle.

Officials say a deputy located Singleton at his residence in Amelia. He was arrested and booked into the parish jail.
