Baton Rouge — Detectives with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office are looking for a man and woman who allegedly used a stolen credit card.
The card was reportedly taken from a vehicle burglarized in the Five Oaks neighborhood on Jan. 9
East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a man and woman seen using a stolen credit card taken from a vehicle burglarized in the Five Oaks neighborhood on January 9.
According to police, the victim reported that her vehicle had been burglarized and that her wallet was stolen. The wallet contained credit cards and gift cards.
The victim also told investigators that the suspects used one of her credit cards on January 9, at approximately 4:00 a.m. at the Walmart on O’Neal Lane.
There were three other vehicle burglaries that night in the same neighborhood. All vehicles were left unlocked.
The first suspect is described as white female wearing a dark sweatshirt, black pants, and white tennis shoes.
The second suspect is described as a white male wearing a black jacket and black pants.
The suspects were observed buying two televisions at the Walmart totaling $649.64.
They then left the parking lot in a relatively new, light-colored SUV.
