EBRSO searching for suspects using stolen checks

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is looking for two suspects that were seen using checks stolen from a resident’s mailbox.

These checks were used to make purchases at three different Wal-Mart stores from April 14 through April 17 to purchase grocery and gift cards.

The first suspect is described as black heavyset female, wearing a black and white shirt with black stone-washed jeans. The second suspect is described as a black heavyset male wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants.

Anyone with information concerning this incident or the identity of the suspects is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office at 225-389-5000.
