Fifty-three pounds of marijuana confiscated in Lake Charles; four arrested

The Combined Anti-Drug Task Force conducted an undercover operation resulting in the arrest of four individuals and the recovery of 53 pounds of high grade marijuana in Lake Charles.

On May 5, detectives from the CAT TEAM received information that Bouasay Norkeo, 44, was meeting with a subject at a convenience store. Norkeo arrived and was arrested by the CAT TEAM for being in possession of the 53 pounds of marijuana.

Detectives continue to investigate the incident and discovered there were three more people at a local casino that assisted with getting the marijuana delivered to Lake Charles. Detectives located the three other suspects and arrested them without incident.

Norkeo of Dallas, TX, was charged with Possession of CDS I with intent to distribute (Marijuana).

Tony Chounlamany, 39, and Khammy Norkeo, 36, both of Dallas, TX, were both charged with was charged with Distribution of CDS I (Marijuana); Jenny Nivone, of Saginaw, TX, was also charged with was charged with Distribution of CDS I (Marijuana).

All four suspects were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
