Houma man arrested after burglarizing car

Darren Marc LeBouef, 34, was arrested after law enforcement completed an investigation into a car burglary in the Summerfield area.

On July 24, Houma Police responded to the area of Levee Drive in reference to a suspicious person. Prior to their arrival, the reporting person informed officers that a white male, wearing a white shirt and khaki shorts was seen in the neighborhood pulling on car doors.

Officers saturated the area and located an individual matching the description who was identified as Darren Marc LeBouef.

As the investigation continued, officers recovered a GPS navigation system, as well as a TV monitor secured in Mr. LeBouef’s clothing. Once this was done, he was detained and directed law enforcement where he retrieved the items from a vehicle.

Darren LeBouef was charged with Simple Burglary.
