Police have turned to social media to track down a statue that was stolen during Jazz Fest. They simply said “don’t laugh…” in the Facebook post and included a link to the information.

“We’re asking for the public’s assistance in located a stolen statue of a pig in a chef’s outfit,” the New Orleans Police Department said in a press release.

The giant pig is holding a sign that says “Eat More Crawfish.” It was reported stolen on May 1, during one of the festival weekends. It was taken from the 3400 block of Esplanade Ave.

If you know anything about the location of the stolen pig statue, call Detective Robert Stoltz at (504) 658-6012 or call Crime Stoppers at (504) 822-1111.
