Officials tell us the incident happened at roughly 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1. We’re told detectives were given a tip regarding the location of Vincent Alexander, 23, an accused drug dealer who was wanted by police.

Detectives followed up on the tip and located Alexander in the 900 block of West 31st Avenue. However, Alexander attempted to outrun police on foot.
