Officer with U.S. Marshal’s Task Force, wife charged with domestic abuse battery
BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — A 13-year veteran of the U.S. Marshals Task Force and his wife are both charged with Domestic Abuse Battery last night for an incident that happened during the 4th of July holiday.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that Cpl. Larry Walters, 38, and his wife Angela Walters, 36, were involved in a physical fight shortly before 2:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5.
Officials say the husband and wife both suffered from minor injuries. Both were issued misdemeanor summons on Tuesday, July 9.
Cpl. Walters has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
