A Church Point man was arrested for vehicular homicide after he allegedly caused a fatal crash due to being impaired.

The Louisiana State Police reports that the incident occurred on Sunday, March 10 shortly before 7:30 p.m. We’re told the suspect, Gerardo Robles, 28, was driving south on LA Hwy. 95 when he struck another vehicle from behind. That impact caused his vehicle to cross the center line and cause a head-on collision.
