
BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — A Baton Rouge man died shortly after midnight last night and investigators are currently seeking a motive.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that the incident occurred on Monday, Oct. 8 on the 11000 block of Bard Street. When officers arrived they found a man lying on the side walk of an apartment complex. The victim, Clement Legea, 45, died at the scene from gunshot wounds to his upper body.
However, witnesses observed a black male dressed in dark clothing running from the scene. Although the motive has not yet been determined, investigators believe the shooting may have been drug-related.
