Roseland man arrested on drug charges after traffic stop
ARCOLA, LA — A Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the arrest of 41 year old Roseland resident Errickson Daniels.
On Saturday June 29, the DEA and TPSO Narcotics Agents received information that a black male was operating a large narcotics business from his black Cadillac Escalade near Hwy 1048 in Arcola.
It was also reported that a large quantity of cocaine was being distributed from the vehicle.
TPSO Narcotics Agents, DEA Agents, Tri-Parish and the Hammond Police Department investigated the call and located the suspect vehicle. Agents then initiated a traffic stop on the black Escalade and detained the driver identified as Errickson Daniels.
The roadside investigation soon revealed that Daniels was in possession of 4 oz (114 grams) of power cocaine, 5 grams of high grade marijuana and $8,900 of cash currency.
Daniels was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession With the Intent to Distribute CDS II.
