A second suspect has been arrested in the altercation at Reggie’s Bar that included LSU running back Jeremy Hill.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that Robert Bayardo, 20, was arrested on Friday, May 3. He was charged with Second-Degree Battery.

Jeremy Hill was arrested on Saturday, April 27 for his involvement in the incident. He was charged with Simple Battery.

“We reviewed the video. Jeremy Hill struck the victim and then shortly thereafter the second suspect struck the victim, knocking him on the ground, rendering him unconscious,” Cpl. L’Jean McKneely, Baton Rouge Police Department, said. “Simple battery is someone punching and there are not any major injuries. When you cause a permanent mark or render someone unconscious, there are different things that could occur from that injury, which makes it second-degree battery.”

Hill was indefinitely suspended from the LSU football team due to his involvement in this fight.

Bavardo was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Officials say this is the final arrest for this case.
