Police arrested a Shreveport coach Friday morning for alleged sexual conduct with a student.

Shortly before noon, officers took Patrick Willams, who is an assistant basketball coach at the Calvary Baptist Academy, into custody over accusations of a sexual relationship with a student there, according to the Shreveport Police Department.

Allegations of the misconduct came to light on February 25, when school administrations talked to authorities about recent behavior.

Investigators believe Williams and the student were involved in a relationship that may have lasted over a period of two years and taken place in multiple jurisdictions throughout Shreveport-Bossier City.

The coach may face additional charge following an investigation by the Bossier City Police Department. They believe he may have committed acts at his home on the 3500 block of Ponderosa Street.

Williams was booked into the Shreveport City Jail and booked on four counts of prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and student. His bail is set at $40,000.
