BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — A 28-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were arrested on drug charges.
Baker Police say they arrested Tyree Cooper and Darylnika Lee on January 16.
A task force, made up of Baker Police and other area law enforcement agencies, performed a warranted search of Cooper’s home at 3345 Alliquippa Street.
Officers found a mental scale, 2 grams of suspected marijuana, and 3 grams of suspected crack cocaine that was hidden in a VCR player. Investigators also found a second bag of suspected crack cocaine.
Lee told arresting officers that her name was “Keisha Davis.” However, police soon learned that she had been false and her name was actually, Darylnika Lee.
Cooper and Lee were both charged with Possession With Intent To Distribute Crack Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and booked into the East Baton Rouge Prison.
