Teen arrested at Port Allen High for bringing sawed-off shotgun to school

Deputies in West Baton Rouge Parish said they arrested a 16 year old at Port Allen High School for bringing a sawed-off shotgun on campus.

Officials tell FOX44 News that deputies made the find after a student told them about it earlier this afternoon, Friday, Feb. 1. After placing the school on lockdown, deputies said they found the gun in a garbage can.

The teen was arrested and has been charged with Terrorizing, Carrying a Firearm at School, and Possession of a Sawed-off Shotgun.
