Belle Chasse, La — Three 15-year-old 10th graders at the Belle Chasse High School have been arrested for participating in drug deals while at school.
On Tuesday, May 14 at around 2:00 p.m., the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division received a tip of drug activity occurring at the Belle Chasse High School.

Further investigation revealed that two other students had distributed the aforementioned drugs to the student on two separate occasions during the day. Statements were obtained from the students in which they confessed to the crimes.
The two students that sold the drugs were arrested and charged with Distribution of a Schedule II CDS.
The student that received the drugs was charged with Possession of a Schedule II CDS and Possession of a CDS in a Drug-Free Zone.
Because all three students are juveniles, the Sheriff’s Office is not releasing their identities.
