Three jailed in connection with allegations of cruelty, prostitution in fire station sting
SHREVEPORT, LA — Police detectives have two more men as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged criminal activity at a Shreveport fire station.
In late July of 2013, Shreveport Police investigators initiated an inquiry into a complaint received by the department relative to criminal activity alleged to have occurred at a Shreveport Fire Station in the 3400 block of Velva Street.
Based upon information gathered during their in-depth investigation, authorities obtained an arrest warrant last week charging Derrick N. Harris, 50, an employee of the Shreveport Fire Department, with Cruelty to the Infirm and Principal to Prostitution.
On August 5, authorities got an arrest warrant charging Clint Richardson, 26, also a Shreveport Fire Department employee, with Cruelty to the Infirm and Principal to Prostitution.
Billy Glass 37, was arrested on the aforementioned charged as well on August 6.
The investigation continues at this hour and police believe additional arrests may be forthcoming.
