The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's office has arrested a man that allegedly gave a three-year-old girl gonorrhea.

According to authorities, the mother of the victim took her to a health clinic on October 17. Tests were ran, and results showed that the little girl girl had contracted gonorrhea.

The mother told investigators that Rodney Granger, 19, had been the only male over 10 years old that was around her daughter with the last month. She then allowed the victim to undergo a rape exam; results showed that she had been violated.

Granier was then questioned and submitted a DNA and STD test. Results showed that Granier, in fact, had gonorrhea. He then admitted to watching the three-year-old victim, but claimed that her contraction of the STD was an accident.

He was charged with two counts of Sexual Battery and booking into EBR Prison.
