Traffic stop leads to arrest of three possible gang members
ST. LANDRY PARISH, LA — According to Sheriff Bobby Guidroz, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Highway Interdiction Team (HIT) arrested three male suspects from Fort Worth, Texas for illegal possession of stolen goods. Through further investigation, Detectives learned the three suspects are possibly gang affiliated.
Sheriff Guidroz stated his Highway Interdiction Team conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 49 in the northern part of St. Landry Parish. Through the investigation, Detectives recovered approximately $3000.00 worth of goods stolen from the Home Depot in Gonzales, La. The suspects attempted to steal from two other Home Depot stores in the Baton Rouge area.
Xzavion Gardner was arrested for Driving in left lane, Improper lane use, No driver license on person, Illegal possession of stolen things, and Simple possession of Marijuana.
Curtis Lusk was arrested for Illegal possession of stolen things and Simple possession of Marijuana.
Marquis Bennett was arrested for Illegal possession of stolen things and Simple possession of Marijuana.
The Detectives seized all stolen property and transported the suspects to the St. Landry Parish Jail.
