Two Kentwood residents arrest for making meth
KENTWOOD, LA — Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the arrest of two Kentwood residents for the manufacturing methamphetamine.
On February 27, Christopher Blackmon, 39, and Sharon Blackmon, 41, were arrested at their residence after a search revealed illegal narcotic activity.
Tri Parish, Tangipahoa Parish Narcotics Agents and the Louisiana State Police conducted a search of the Kentwood residence. The search reveled that the couple were manufacturing methamphetamine inside the residence. Drug paraphernalia such as scales and packing materials were also located within the residence.
Christopher Blackmon remains in the Parish Jail on a $200, 000.00 bond. He was charged with the manufacturing of methamphetamine, possession of CDS V, possession of CDS II and a Parole Violation. Sharon Blackmon was released on a $200,000.00 bond. Her charges include the manufacturing of methamphetamine, possession of CDS V and possession of CDS II.
