Two more arrested for violating terrorism statue causing Lafayette shooting death
LAFAYETTE, LA — Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested two additional people in connection with the shooting death of Ray Ryan.
Investigators allege that in the course of intimidating and coercing residents of the Marigny Circle community, thus far six people are accused committing an aggravated criminal damage to property. During the course of this crime, Ryan was shot and killed although he was not believed to be the target of the aggression.
Today Investigators have arrested Lee Hill, 28, of Lafayette and Richard Hurst, 26, of New Iberia and charged them with violating the Terrorism statute.
A Lafayette-based rapper along with three other individuals were arrested and charged with violation of the Terrorism statue on Friday, July 20.
Additional arrests are likely in this matter.
