East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives arrested two women tonight for allegedly running a man over with a vehicle and threatening a woman from telling law enforcement.

Keyon Williams, 34, of Gonzales, is charged with Second-Degree Murder and Witness Intimidation.

Lelecia Williams, 35, also of Gonzales, is charged with Witness Intimidation.

According to reports, Mark Heald, 46, was last seen alive Wednesday evening with an acquaintance. Heald and the woman allegedly had an argument that night concerning narcotics. The woman left the apartment and arranged for Keyon Williams to pick her up.

Williams allegedly arrived with several other women in the vehicle. Heald allegedly began walking around the vehicle, yelling and screaming. When Williams began to leave, Heald allegedly blocked the vehicle from exiting. Williams then allegedly drove forward, striking him with the front bumper, causing him to stumble backward.

He again returned to the front of the vehicle to physically block it from exiting. Williams then allegedly accelerated the vehicle, striking Heald causing him to fall on the hood and then roll in front of the vehicle. Heald then became pinned under the vehicle. Williams then placed the vehicle in reverse and fled the area.

Kevon and Lelecia Willams then allegedly threatened Heald’s acquaintance several times stating that if she told anyone of the incident she would be killed. Both women will be booked into parish prison. The investigation is ongoing.
