Detectives are searching for a suspect who is believed to have robbed three local convenience stores overnight.

The first robbery occurred at about 2:25 a.m. at the Circle K on Alvin Dark. The suspect robbed the store clerk at gunpoint and fled on foot.

Then, at about 4:25 a.m.,  the same suspect robbed a Circle K on Highland, also while armed with a handgun.

About twenty minutes later, the same suspect entered a Circle K on Nicholson and attempted to rob that store. This time, however, the store clerk resisted and managed to knock the gun out of the suspect’s hand. The suspect and the clerk scuffled briefly before the suspect escaped on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’7”-5’9”, 130-150 lbs., with visible acne scarring on both cheeks.
