Woman crashes into Subway, arrested on DWI charges
HOUMA, LA — A Houma woman was arrested after hitting a utility pole and crashing into a restaurant.
On October 08 at around 3:42 a.m., Houma Police were called out to a single-vehicle crash at the Subway on Main Street.
Officers found that Ashley Stamant, 30, was driving her 2008 Ford Expedition when she left roadway, struck a utility pole, and collided into the Subway.
Stamant was transported to the Houma Police Department, where her blood level showed a .23 percent blood alcohol concentration.
Stamant was charged with DWI and Reckless Operation of a Vehicle.
