Woman steals nursing home employee's wallet, goes on spending spree

Zachary police are looking for a woman that used stolen credit cards to purchase $750 in merchandise.

a wallet from a nursing home employee's purse and went onspending spree.

On May 12, officers responded to Lane Regional Medical Center in regards to a theft. When they arrived, officers spoke to the victim who said that her purse was stolen from the nursing home there.

The victim’s purse included several ID cards and credit cards that were later used at a Walgreens located in Zachary.

It was later discovered that an unidentified black female used the cards to purchase numerous gift cards totaling approximately $750.
