BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — An EBR Sheriff’s Deputy was involved in a crash on Bluebonnet near the Interstate. We’re told no one was seriously injured.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office tells us that the deputy was responding to a call at the Whitney Bank on Jefferson Hwy. at around 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2. The deputy had his emergency lights on when he approached the intersection of Bluebonnet near I-10. We're told he crashed into a vehicle that was passing through the intersection.

EMS workers responded to the scene and say there were no major injuries.

The incident is currently under investigation.
