DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (FOX44) — Some students in Denham Springs were late to school this morning. That’s because their bus was involved in a crash after a driver ran a red light.

The crash happened this morning shortly after 6:00 a.m. on Florida Blvd at the intersection of Eden Church Road. The Louisiana State Police reports that a driver ran a red light, causing the crash. Fortunately, no children were on the bus. However, both drivers sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle that caused the crash was issued a ticket.
